Escherichia Coli Extract/sr-(Enterobacteria Phage T7 Polypeptide-1 Pentapeptide-70 Poly-Spider Polypeptide-1) is a single chain recombinant peptide produced by fermentation in E. coli, where the final product contains proteins from the E. coli host. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the gene from sr-Enterobacteria Phage T7 Polypeptide-1, Pentapeptide-70, and 48 repeats of s-Spider Polypeptide-1. The fusion peptide contains 1696 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
