r-(s-HIV-1 Oligopeptide-1 rh-Oligopeptide-98 Oligopeptide-183 rh-Oligopeptide-99 Oligopeptide-163 rh-Oligopeptide-100 rh-Oligopeptide-101) is a single chain fusion peptide, produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the genes encoding for s-HIV-1 Oligopeptide-1, rh-Oligopeptide-98, Oligopeptide-183 rh-Oligopeptide-99, Oligopeptide-163, rh-Oligopeptide-100, and rh-Oligopeptide-101. The fusion peptide contains 180 amino acids which may contain disulfide bonds and/or glycosylation, and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
