Osulloc Tea Museum & Innisfree Jeju House: how to visit both

Osulloc Tea Museum and its green tea fieldsInnisfree Jeju House building

In the green-tea fields of Andeok-myeon on western Jeju sit two Amorepacific-family spots side by side: Osulloc Tea Museum and, just up the path, Innisfree Jeju House. Seeing both back to back is the appeal -- Jeju's tea heritage and one of Korea's best-known skincare brands, both built around the same tea fields.

The Tea Museum opened in 2001 as Korea's first museum dedicated to tea and reportedly draws around 1.8 million visitors a year. In March 2026 it added a new "matcha station" where visitors can grind shade-grown Jeju tea leaves themselves and blend their own matcha, alongside tinned "Jeju Pure Matcha" and ready-to-drink "Jeju Draft Matcha" and "Jeju Draft Matcha Latte". A short walk up the path from the museum is Innisfree Jeju House, a glass-walled building on three sides so you feel surrounded by the tea fields and forest even indoors. Besides Jeju-ingredient skincare for sale, it runs natural soap-making and stamp postcard workshops and a brunch menu using local Jeju ingredients. The buildings were designed by Mass Studies, with the extension described as an "anti-pavilion" concept.

Visitor write-ups praise the tea fields as very photogenic, calling them a rare stretch of green good for photos. Several also note the area sits in Jeju's mid-mountain countryside, away from the city and airport, so public transit options are limited and slow -- a rental car or the tourist circular bus is the more practical way to get there.

Address: Osulloc is at 제주 서귀포시 안덕면 신화역사로 15; Innisfree Jeju House is just up the same road. Both run roughly 09:00-18:00. From Jeju City/airport, bus 1135 via Pyeonghwa-ro takes about 50 minutes; from Jungmun Tourist Complex, bus 1116 takes about 30 minutes. The western mid-mountain circular buses 820-1/820-2 run a route covering both spots with an onboard guide.

Nearby: Innisfree Jeju House is a short walk up the path from the Tea Museum, so both can be covered on the same visit.

Question: with one day in Jeju, would you spend more time on the tea experience or the skincare/shopping side?
