Olive Young Seomyeon Town, Busan: which store to pick and what's inside
Search "Olive Young Seomyeon" and you're probably trying to decide whether the flagship built into Seomyeon subway station is worth the detour. Reporting on Busan's Olive Young expansion says it is: this is one of the largest Olive Young stores outside the Seoul area, with foreign and domestic customers roughly 50/50.
Seomyeon Town sits inside Seomyeon Station itself, at around 270 pyeong (about 890 sqm), and industry coverage says daily footfall can approach 10,000 during big sale periods. It has multilingual labels, a tax-refund service desk, luggage storage, and experience corners like a "Pick Your Color" personal-color test. A short walk down the main avenue is Olive Young Seomyeon 1st Avenue, which reporting says sees an even higher share of foreign visitors, so it's easy to compare both. The connected Seomyeon underground shopping arcade is right there too, useful on a rainy day.
Coverage and visitor notes mention long checkout lines during sale periods, and staff able to handle basic Chinese and Japanese, which reportedly makes tax refunds smoother than at smaller branches. Some note the underground arcade is cheaper but not every stall processes tax refunds, so it's worth asking first.
Address: 부산 부산진구 중앙대로 730 (Bujeon-dong), unit 2-01 inside Seomyeon Station. Take Exit 10 of Seomyeon Station (Busan Metro Line 2) and you're there. Hours and tax-refund availability are best confirmed at the store or official channels; sale-period dates change yearly, so check official social accounts before you go.
Nearby: Olive Young Seomyeon 1st Avenue, a short walk down the main road; the Seomyeon underground shopping arcade, connected straight to the station.

Question: if you could only visit one, the in-station Town branch or the 1st Avenue store, which would you pick?
