In the same neighborhood, Chahong Ardor Cheongdam, founded by a stylist who became Korea's first L'Oréal Professional Paris World Class Artist, offers cut, color, makeup and nail services, with a run of domestic industry awards from 2015 to 2019.

This isn't a clinic or a medical treatment — it's high-end hair and makeup, priced accordingly for the neighborhood. Travel forums and comment threads repeat a few points: book several days ahead if you want a specific designer; not every salon has fully fluent English-speaking staff, so it's worth asking when you book; and cut and color prices around here run noticeably higher than a neighborhood salon elsewhere in the city.
