VT Reedle Shot user reviews: the tingle is real, results split opinion

In March 2025, a "Has anyone used Reedle Shot?" thread went up on Girls Channel, a large Japanese women's forum. The poster had heard it contains countless tiny needles, stings, and comes in different needle counts. It drew over 100 comments.

What the replies said

  • Many said it hurts, and that toner stung the next day too
  • A lot of people using the 100 or 300 couldn't really tell what it did
  • Some got blister-like bumps, redness or more clogged pores, and called it a product for tough skin
  • One tried a friend's 300 on the inner wrist, got red bumps and itching, and advised testing first
  • On the other side, one started at 50, moved to 100 and saw firmer skin and tighter pores; another was wowed the morning after a trial kit
  • Several suspected stealth marketing on YouTube, and others said irritated skin needs a dermatologist, not this

Reviews leaned toward "worried about irritation" or "can't tell"; the "it worked" group was a minority.

Desk note Since stealth marketing came up so often: in Japan, advertising that hides the fact that it is an ad has been regulated under the Premiums and Representations Act since 1 October 2023, so commissioned posts must be recognizable as ads. If you are worried about irritation, the American Academy of Dermatology suggests testing on the inner arm twice a day for 7–10 days before using a product on your face.

If you have used Reedle Shot, which strength did you start with and how did it feel?
